I can't believe it's the 1st of Feb already and in two weeks, we will be celebrating.... Valentine's Day! Yeah!
Now I know that some people are a bit cynical about Valentine's Day, how commercial it is, blablabla....Well I'm not, I've always loved it and I'm actually a sucker for anything romantic but I felt that Halloween was a tiny bit commercial since it's a US thing. Saying that... for the sake of our daughter, we went with the flow and celebrated Halloween last November with our friends and their children and we all had a fantastic time...so here we go, here was a lesson for me.
So yes Valentine's Day can be a bit commercial but so is Mother's Day, Christmas etc and so what?
At the end of the day, it's about giving and making someone we love happy and it can be fun and romantic! So join us in the mood for love and have a romantic month, not just one day but make February your month to be closer to your loved one, to be romantic and more appreciative of what they do. xoxo
